IT Project Manager
This resource would provide necessary project management fundamentals to assist in the organization and progress of the various IT tools and projects we have to improve efficiency and forecasting excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shapes and drives a project from initiation stage to project close.
• Workflow mapping and synergy identification
• Ensures that project vision and goals are clearly defined and that key stakeholders are identified and on-boarded.
• Defines the project plan, roles and responsibilities and communications plan.
• Manages multiple stakeholders across multiple business and technical groups
• Manages project scope progress and spend with ability to create visualizations for transparent communication and accountability (i.e. reports)
Creates status reports for management stakeholders
• Leads the project methodology, ensuring that templates and work instructions are clear for all project phases and deliverables.
• Creates and maintains the project plan.
• Drives to ensure that issues and risks are actioned and mitigated in a timely manner.
• Possesses the ability to ramp-up quickly and identify synergies to improve efficiency and mitigate systems/functional risk.
• Ability to generate key performance indicators on work processes and or business metrics to influence behavior change and or performance
Required:
• Ability to define scope, seek alignment from stakeholders, build visuals to communicate progress on milestones and hold IT or Business professionals accountable to meet deadlines
• 10-15+ Years of Industry O&G related experience (can be within IT/OT space as Business Analyst, Engineer or Project Manager)
• Providing oversight on either a portfolio and or project initial design to execution/handover
• Experience delivering and or leading business solutions which deal with software and or cloud technology / multiple databases
• Basic level of proficiency with Agile principles
• Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, other related business/tech field, or Scrum Master Certification
