Agile Project Manager
This is a 1+ year contract, onsite in the Energy Corridor. The APM will be responsible for defining the project’s schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries, organizing and facilitating project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, stakeholder communications, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule and lead planning, program increment refinement, sprint refinement, Scrum of SCRUMs, sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile and quality ceremonies.
• Coach, mentor and educate team members on Agile best practices and process improvements.
• Work with other Agile teams, their Scrum Masters and client Stakeholders to ensure alignment and act together toward common goals.
• Establishing communication with stakeholders and project teams.
• Allocating sufficient resources as per the project requirements.
• Keeping an account of the progress of the project.
• Ensuring that the project is completed on time and with good quality.
• Eliminating roadblocks.
Required skills:
• 5+ years’ experience as an agile project manager in oil and gas.
• Experienced with delivering complex, multi-tier IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS cloud-based software solutions.
• Experience collaborating with teams who develop on Microsoft Technologies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and experience required, and certification highly preferred.
• Experience with Jira workflows, dash boards and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze critical information and present recommendations to team and to leadership.
• Identifying, collecting, and analyzing metric data.
