Marketing Communications Specialist
This is a 12 month contract position for a global energy company in West Houston. As part of a collaborative team, the Senior Writer works closely with MarCom Managers, product champions, field engineers, and technical subject matter experts to develop clear, compelling copy for customer-facing print and digital collateral. Senior Writers function as subject matter experts (SMEs) for writing and editing within the company.

Familiarity of CMS —Ability to upload and create new content.
SEO Knowledge —Understand search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, keyword research, and familiar with reviewing Google Analytics dashboards in Data Studio to adjust messaging.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
At least 8-10 yrs. experience, preferably in O&G industry
• Experience writing for a technical industry, preferably in a B2B environment
• Knowledgeable of energy industry terminology
• Knowledgeable on the Chicago Manual of Style
• Experience with project management systems
• 5–9 years’ experience in professional writing/editing/communication, web writing, marketing, and working with creative teams, and project management
